Days to expiry (DTE)
Calendar days remaining until the option contract expires.
DTE is simply the number of calendar days between today and an option's expiration date. It's shorthand used everywhere in options trading — ‘30 DTE puts’, ‘0 DTE’, etc. Shorter DTE = faster theta decay = more time-value risk per day.
